Not every electric or hybrid car is approved to tow. Some are only rated for a bike rack, and some have low towing limits compared with a petrol or diesel equivalent. The towing limits are on the VIN plate and in the handbook, and if a car has no approved towbar, we will not fit one. Towing also cuts an EV's range noticeably, often by a third or more with a caravan, so plan your charging stops.
