Wet belt replacement

Some modern engines run the timing belt inside the engine oil (a "wet belt" or belt-in-oil). Over time the belt can swell, crack and shed rubber, which blocks the oil pick-up and can starve the engine of oil. We inspect, measure and replace wet belts using the correct kit and the exact oil spec the manufacturer lists.

Warning signs

  • Oil pressure or engine warning light
  • Low oil pressure messages
  • Loss of power or limp mode
  • Hard brake pedal (on some engines the brake vacuum pump is affected)
