Vehicle recovery in Ascot
We recover cars, and vehicles with trailers, for Ascot and the SL5 villages back to our Bracknell workshop five miles away. Tell us what you are driving and whether anything is hitched to it, because that changes what we need to bring.
about five miles from Ascot (SL5) via the A329 and A330 through Winkfield
Back to our own workshop
The car comes to us and we diagnose it ourselves — no compound, no second collection, no handover between firms.
A straight answer on timing
We will tell you honestly how long we will be rather than quoting a response time we cannot keep.
Checked before you pay for a truck
Describe what the car is doing and we will tell you if it is something simpler — a flat battery does not need recovery.
Tell us if you are towing
A car with a trailer or horsebox attached is a different recovery job, and it helps enormously to know before we set off rather than on arrival. If there are horses or other animals aboard, say so immediately — that becomes a welfare situation and may need a specialist horsebox service and a vet rather than a standard recovery truck, and we would rather tell you that straight away than waste your time. For a car and empty trailer, let us know the trailer's size and whether it can be unhitched and left safely, since that often makes the recovery much simpler.
We also cover Sunninghill, Sunningdale, North Ascot, Winkfield and Cheapside, all within a short run of the workshop.
Vehicle recovery in Ascot — common questions
- Do you recover vehicles from Ascot and Sunningdale?
- Yes, back to our workshop on London Road in Bracknell, around five miles via the A329 and A330 through Winkfield. Ring 07758 833 127 with your location.
- What if I break down while towing a trailer?
- Tell us on the call. A car plus trailer needs different handling, and if the trailer can safely be unhitched and collected separately that is often the quickest route. If there are animals on board, say so first — that needs specialist help and possibly a vet, not a standard recovery.
- Can you recover a car from an event car park or private land?
- Usually, but we need the access details up front — barrier heights, gate widths and whether a truck can physically reach the vehicle. Send us those when you call and we will confirm before setting off rather than turning up and finding we cannot get in.
- What should I tell you when I call for recovery?
- Where you are as precisely as you can manage, what the car is doing, whether it is in a safe place, and whether anything is attached to it. If you are on a motorway, the junction number or marker post helps a lot.
- When should I call 999 instead?
- If anyone is injured, if the vehicle is in a live traffic lane, or if you cannot get clear of moving traffic. Get the emergency services first and sort the recovery once you are safe.
