Strap-on traction aids for when a cold snap catches you out. They wrap around the tyre and bite into packed snow, ice and mud, getting you off a driveway or up an untreated hill without needing a full set of winter tyres.

What you get

One set is 2 straps — enough for a single axle. Most cars only need one set, fitted to the driven wheels. Order 2 sets if you want all four wheels covered, or if you drive a 4x4.

Important

These are an emergency aid, not a replacement for winter tyres. Fit them to your driven wheels only, keep to low speeds, and take them off once you reach clear tarmac — running them on bare road wears the straps and can mark the surface.
